FOOTSTRIKES
A forefoot strike lands on the front part of the foot first, reducing impact on the heel. It promotes quicker cadence and is common among sprinters and minimalist runners.
A midfoot strike lands with the heel and the front part of the foot almost simultaneously for balanced shock absorption. It offers a stable, efficient stride suitable for most runners.
A rearfoot (heel) strike lands on the heel first, using the shoe’s cushioning to absorb initial impact. This pattern is common among mid-distance and long-distance runners.
Pain Point: Marathon runners experience fatigue through inefficient energy transfer and increased impact stress associated with heel strikes.

OUTSOLE DEVELOPMENT
Inspirations gain from Marine Lifes, Artifacts and Insects.
03
MIDSOLE STRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT

The midsole is shaped to reduce heel-strike impact and improve energy flow through the stride.
